The purpose of this site is to provide information on how and where to sell your stuff online. Most of the information I will provide is simply that: information. I will tell you what kind of items you can list on each site, how the site operates, how much work you can expect to put into monitoring your inventory, and the sort of profit you can expect. I will also provide tips and tricks on shipping, listing, and pricing your items.
Unless otherwise noted, all of the information I provide is either based on my own experience with the site or taken from the site itself. Please let me know if you see any errors and I will promptly fix them. Also, feel free to comment on your own experience with any of these websites, particularly those that I have not used yet. I am trying to use as many of them as I can so that I can report my own experiences, but there are far too many out there for me to cover.
At the end of each post, I will list a number of similar sites that I have not tried yet, so I welcome you to try them out and report back! I'll be happy to add your report to the post (and attribute it to you of course). Hopefully, we can eventually create a comprehensive informational database for individuals who want to sell their stuff! The other benefit of doing this is that, right now, these sites basically charge whatever commission/fees they want because they aren't really competing with each other. Publishing this information may change that, eventually.
